Guitar Tuner

Free Guitar Tuner is a small program for tuning acoustic and electric guitars. The application has full compatibility with the Windows operating system (32 and 64 bit). The interface language is automatically English. Free Guitar Tuner is completely free. Utility users don't need to buy a license key or subscription to start using the application.

Interface design

The program uses the British musical notation system. The interface is designed in the style of "minimalism". All the main functions for tuning a guitar are located in the main window. The utility doesn't require installation - download and unpacks the archive with the program to your computer. After launching the Free Guitar Tuner, a working window will open. Here you can select two types of guitar to tune: acoustic and electric. Some people note the beautiful interface and interesting additional features of the tuner, which make it possible to have fun with it.

Usability

You need to have Adobe Flash Player 10.1 or later installed. Allow access by clicking on the "Allow" button. Notes - the notes are displayed in the most prominent place, and it hard to miss them. On the left are the guitar's tuning settings, in case you want something different from the standard. Choose from the list, and it will show you which string should have which note.

To tune and check the sound quality of a musical instrument, the strings are used, which are located on the right side of the screen in Latin letters. The "tone" menu item is used to adjust the tone of the guitar sound. The strings on the right side of the interface are also used to work with this instrument. The "Mute" button mutes the guitar sound. On the lower right side of the interface is the volume control for acoustic or electric guitar.
